On the scenic River Road, between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park, sits Lajitas Golf Resort and Spa where a calvary post was established at the turn of the 20th century as a result of the Mexican Revolution. Very nice! But that should be spelled "Cavalry" not "Calvary". Cavalry is the military detail on horseback. Calvary is where Christ was crucified. ;)
