This beautiful structure was built in 1919 and is the only adobe courthouse in the state of Texas, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places! Do youself a favor and get off the freeway at Sierra Blanca to take a look at the inside of the building...the feel of the place is unique and proportions are interesting, perhaps because of its 18 inch thick walls!
